Oh hey might as well answer this while I have time.

Simplest way is to just redraw the background.

But the way you want is to draw the background, Save it in the save slot, Then open it in another window. Draw your Foreground on the first window, Save and upload. Go back to the newer window, Save slot it, and draw something new on top. Save slot again and post.

Hopefully you followed that and it answered your question.

But I think my biggest pet peeve, on top of that, is orps where the character is in a closed environment like their home or in a place no one would logically bump into them. In entries try to involve what is going on in larger world of the RP or have them do absolutely anything. Dishes, Shopping, Watching TV, Whittling, anything.  Really the goal is to give the other people who might join the RP something to play off of. There is not a lot you can say to “…” but, “Boy I really like jerky, do you like jerky?” gives you something, not very high quality something, but something to respond to. It doesn’t have to be verbal but it’s the same idea, staring off into space gives you less to play off of than, say, making a sandwich.
